Team Leader Secondary Processing

Reporting to the Operations manager, the Team Leader will be responsible for day to day efficient, safe operations within the secondary cell. The role will manage a team of operators and the incumbent will ensure the team has the necessary skills, training and communications to ensure all the team is equipped to complete all tasks.

Process control and monitoring is essential and team discipline to procedures and control plans will be a fundamental aspect of performance. Continuous improvement will be expected and as such shift performance recording against set targets will be an ongoing requirement.

This role will help to ensure we meet all key performance indicators and service level agreements. The role will build relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure the secondary cell performs in line with business expectations.

Main responsibilities and duties but not limited to:

• People management
• Planning
• Scheduling
• Operation of all secondary equipment
• Testing and basic analytical work
• Product awareness
• Operational quality audits
• Operational performance reporting
• SOP formulation, management and review
• Liaise with HR to coordinate training plans
• Collaborating with all departments
